We are all in this Together

The Benefits of Group Coaching

In a time where we couldn’t be more physically distant (2 metres each to be precise), it is the time to come together – to support, to learn, to problem solve and make positive forward thinking actions together.

‘The Secret of Change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new’ – Socrates

Group coaching is the perfect way to do this and luckily it is easy to do it online!

The action learning technique originated from Reg Revans in the 1940s at the National Coal Board. A scientist, university professor and management consultant, he was keen to develop new ways for managers to learn and develop together and thought training alone did not always bring the best results. The theory goes if we relate training to our ‘own experience’ and question how to apply it to our needs and challenges.

This short video explains HOW it works and WHAT participants will gain from the experience;

So to sum up – group coaching can;

-        Help in finding direction and reaching your goals, whilst offering help to others during this time (your family, your work team or community).

-        Train and teach you how to coach. Through the training element you will gain vital coaching and communication skills, which you can then use in your daily life and work.

-        Help with groups facing change, challenges or new direction. By reflecting on similar issues and sharing with others, people will formulate forward-thinking actions and decisions that are positive,

productive and purposeful.

-        Provide you with a sustainable model of support. After 5 or 6 sessions the group can run itself as participants will have learnt the structure, principles and how to coach.

We are now running sessions online - available for groups, businesses, networks and will be launching courses for individuals soon. Please click below to book or find out more info.
