This Group Coaching Course combines Coaching, Creativity and Community. Delivered by me, Liz Fraser-Betts, I have combined my Coaching expertise and knowledge of different techniques with my experience working in Arts Education to design an interactive, practical, creative jam-packed course.
By joining this 5 week practical course you will;
1. LEARN HOW TO COACH, by learning and practicing key coaching methods, techniques and principles.
2. BE ‘COACHED’ through the Action learning set model.
3. Have the chance to CONTINUE the course beyond the 5 weeks as a group for FREE – the sustainable model encourages the group to become ‘self-led’, so they will continue to learn, grow, improve and practice together beyond the course.
Who is this for?
This workshop is for anyone who has an interest in coaching, who wants to learn more and become more productive in life or career!
You can be a complete beginner, have some knowledge or already be a coach – the magic of the Action Learning Set is it’s a safe and challenging space where we work, listen and grow together, whilst learning from each other.
The beauty of the design is you experience being COACHED and COACHING; being able to have an insight from both sides enables you to gain a deeper understanding of the process, learn practically, and really perfect your listening skills.
The backbone to the course is peer support and it is perfect for people who want to integrate listening skills and the coaching philosophy in to their workplaces or family life.

Sessions take place on Zoom, where we all meet, share and work together. The Action Learning set model ensures everyone has space to share, talk and be heard – it adds safety to the process so there is no ‘awkwardness’, but works around the principle of equal understanding amongst the group.
What happens after the course?
It is Sustainable! You can keep going! At the end of the course you will have learnt how to use a number of key coaching skills and have a range of different tools in your toolbox. The course is a sustainable model and the group are encouraged to continue (self-led), to practice, grow skills take it in turns to facilitate and support each other.
*Please note this is not an accredited course.
What people say?
It felt experimental and new, which was exciting!
Former Participant
Over the course of the 4 weeks we all had the opportunity to be coached by each other, but more importantly (for us) we got to learn through Liz's direction key tools for coaching and every session we were able to practice our coaching skills on each other. We all felt this was well pitched, where we had the opportunity to try out ways of asking questions, reflecting and helping develop the coachee's goal. We all would really recommend Liz's workshop, and have applied the skills in our working environment.

This group coaching course came at the right time. It was a life ring to getting my mind out of the blurry uncertainty and confusion that I was experiencing during a pandemic, where I was in lockdown.

The way Liz lead us all through the group-coaching process was excellent - it was very well planned and delivered. I felt part of a very professionally-led training package which was also warm, friendly and supportive. This short-course offered a range of resources, including reading, exercises to do in between sessions and guided group-coaching which gave participants space to try new approaches with support.

While I was taking part they really gave me a sense of peace during the hour or so that I didn't really expect - it was a bit like meditation! Practising the action learning sets as often as we did was really helpful and by the final session you could see how much of an improvement we'd made.

I benefited immensely from the safe space created by Liz and the rest of the group, as we learnt to put our coaching skills to the test and build on the practice. On a personal level, it allowed me to build confidence in my coaching and active listening skills. I've found training around coaching has enabled me to build up skills to tackle difficult topics.

Hearing others ask questions you wouldn't have thought to ask and seeing how this shapes the conversation, or seeing the coachee have a 'lightbulb moment' about something provides you with extra learning you wouldn't experience if it was 121.
