The Story Exchange
The Story Museum & Oxfordshire Cultural Education Partnership | Paul Hamlyn Foundation
As Project Manager and Co-evaluator, I led this two-year programme exploring how oral storytelling supports children's emotional literacy. Using the Storytelling Evaluation Method, reflective practice and an enquiry-based approach, Storytellers worked with teachers in Co-learner partnerships. My approach worked intensively with teachers and creatives bringing together stories, creative evaluation and project data to understand how the impact of arts-based learning in school settings. The report combined robust evidence with storytelling to capture learning, celebrate impact and shape future practice.

Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration
National Lottery Heritage Fund | 2023–2027
Working alongside Heather Whitt, I am leading the five-year evaluation of the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration as it transforms New River Head into the UK's first national centre for illustration. Together we are embedding evaluation throughout the project from pre-opening / capital works stage to post-launch. Using a huge range of techniques; reflective practice, audience consultation, data collection, focus groups and creative evaluation methods to support organisational learning alongside National Lottery Heritage Fund reporting. The evaluation is designed to help the Centre continually learn, adapt and create lasting impact as it establishes itself as a nationally significant cultural destination, inspiring new audiences through the power of illustration.

Burton: Exploring Without Boundaries
Habitats & Heritage | National Lottery Heritage Fund
As external evaluator, I evaluated this two-year National Lottery Heritage Fund project combining conservation, research and community participation to restore the Grade II Burton Mausoleum.
Using in-depth interviews, reflective practice and an enquiry-based approach, I explored how the project challenged traditional heritage narratives and created safe spaces for dialogue around complex histories. The final report brought together evidence, participant stories and critical reflection to demonstrate both measurable impact and the deeper social value of inclusive heritage interpretation.
